FL101 Introduction to Offline Workflows in DeepEditor Overview

DeepEditor is transforming post-production workflows by making high-quality video dubbing (“vubbing”) simple, powerful, and seamless. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of using DeepEditor inside Avid Media Composer with media prep, plugin integration, and draft generation, to utilize on practical use cases like performance transfers, dialogue replacement, censorship, localization, and ADR. The course also covers essential workflows including plugin integration and the A.R.T. (Artistic Rights Treasury) Consent Workflow.

Using clips from an exclusive film, you’ll practice core DeepEditor techniques while reviewing pre-generated vubs to understand the creative and technical possibilities. With this course, you’ll be comfortable navigating DeepEditor’s integration and applying it to real-world editorial needs.

Remember, DeepEditor is a tool that augments, not replaces, the editor’s creative control. We encourage discussion of ethical considerations in AI-assisted performance editing.
