KCE+ is Key Code Education’s professional development membership for creative and technical teams. It provides ongoing instructor office hours, exclusive training discounts, and monthly learning resources to help your team stay sharp and supported.

Who is KCE+ designed for?

KCE+ supports freelancers, editors, assistants, colorists, mixers, engineers, and full post-production teams looking for continuous skill development and workflow guidance.

What does a KCE+ membership include?

Each tier includes monthly instructor office hours, discounts on live classes, access to member-only workshops, and priority scheduling for training. Higher tiers offer deeper discounts and additional benefits.

Can I add HopLine, LeapPass, or LeapTrack to KCE+?

Yes, KCE+ is your core membership, and HopLine, LeapPass, and LeapTrack are optional add-on services you can bundle at any time to expand training, support, or tracking.

How do LeapPass credits work with KCE+?

LeapPass credits can be used for any Key Code Education class, private session, or workshop. KCE+ members redeem credits at their discounted rate and maintain all LeapPass benefits.

Do office hours or other included trainings roll over if I don’t use them?

No, they do not roll over. They reset to encourage consistent, ongoing development throughout the year.

How do I schedule my office hours or included trainings?

Once you join, you’ll receive access to our scheduling portal to book time directly. You can choose available time slots or request a workflow-specific session.

What if I run out of office hours or included trainings?

You can purchase additional time at discounted member rates or upgrade your membership tier to increase your monthly allotment.

Can I receive on-site training?
Yes, on-site training is available for a nominal fee if you are within a 25-mile radius of our Burbank HQ. For those outside that radius, accommodations can still be made upon request.

Can I cancel my KCE+ membership at any time?

Yes. You can cancel or adjust your membership at any time. Additional products, such as LeapPass or HopLine, follow their own terms.

Does KCE+ include HopLine support?

KCE+ Enterprise includes HopLine Basic automatically. KCE+ Studio members receive 25% off HopLine, and KCE+ Enterprise members get 50% off HopLine upgrades.

How do I upgrade or renew my KCE+ plan?

You can upgrade anytime through your member account or by contacting the Key Code Education team for assistance or enterprise planning.

Can I buy LeapPass without KCE+?
Yes, LeapPass credits can be purchased standalone or as part of a KCE+ plan.

What are the LeapPass benefits of a KCE+ plan?
Select KCE+ members receive additional Bonus Credits with their LeapPass purchases.

How long are LeapPass credits valid?
Credits remain valid for 18 months from date of purchase and can roll over across fiscal years with simplified billing under one PO. Lock in rates at purchase; no value lost over time if general rates or prices increase. You can apply credits toward any KCE training services throughout your contract period.

What happens if I use all of my LeapPass credits or if I’m running low?
You can buy more credits at any time. If you add credits to your current LeapPass, you’ll still receive the same Bonus Credit milestones, but all credits will share the same expiration date. If you purchase a new LeapPass separately, it starts its own contract period with its own Bonus Credit milestones.

Can I only purchase the amounts listed above?

What can I use my LeapPass credits on?
You can use your LeapPass credits on across multiple learners, courses, locations, and services. Ideal for cross-departmental sharing – editorial, color, audio, engineering, etc.

Can I buy HopLine without KCE+?
Yes, HopLine services can be purchased standalone or as part of a KCE+ plan.

What are the HopLine benefits of a KCE+ plan?
Select KCE+ members receive a complimentary HopLine Basic support plan as well as discounts on all HopLine tiers.

How does HopLine support work?
HopLine is a ticket-based support service. You submit a ticket, and our expert instructors respond within the guaranteed time window for your tier. Depending on your plan, you may also receive access to additional service channels, which are activated for you when your tier is purchased.

One support hour equals one resolved ticket or up to 60 minutes of instructor time, whichever comes first.

Is there a minimum purchase for HopLine?
Yes, an initial monthly plan purchase requires a 3-month minimum. 

Is there a Pay-As-You-Go option for HopLine?
Yes, Pay-As-You-Go allows you to send in support tickets to our HopLine Basic support line without obligation. Rates are $175 per Support Hour Ticket or you may purchase a 5-Ticket pack (valid for 6 months) for $700.

What happens if I use all of my monthly support hours?
You can add on support hours to any plan at any time.
