BM107 Blackmagic Live Production Systems Overview
Blackmagic Live Production Systems I introduces students to the core components of a modern Blackmagic Design live production environment. Through hands-on instruction, students learn how broadcast cameras, switchers, hardware control panels, and camera control systems work together to produce professional live events.
Using the ATEM 2 M/E Constellation UHD 4K Live Production Switcher, ATEM Advanced Panel, ATEM Camera Control Panel, URSA Broadcast G2 cameras, and Studio Viewfinders, students will develop practical skills in live switching, camera operation, signal flow, routing, tally systems, camera shading, multiview monitoring, transitions, media playback, and production coordination.
The course emphasizes real-world broadcast workflows commonly used in live events, houses of worship, sports, education, corporate productions, and streaming environments.
By the end of the course, students will understand how to configure and operate a complete Blackmagic live production system while following industry-standard production practices.
