PC101 Post Coordinator Essentials Overview

In this class, students will learn the duties and responsibilities of a Post Production Coordinator, including daily tasks like distribution, scheduling, promo organization, management skills while working with editorial, visual effects, and audio engineering teams. Post Coordinators also book sessions, work with 3rd-party vendors, and manage Production Assistants (PAs). The Post Production Coordinator position is the first step in mastering production management.

  • Setup Shared Calendars
  • Create Distribution Lists
  • Manage ADR sessions
  • Manage invoices
  • Coordinate audio, editorial, and VFX sessions

This class is designed for those who need a working knowledge of the Post Coordinator position.

Prerequisites

A working knowledge of Windows or Macintosh operating systems. Experience in video production or post-production is recommended.
