Adobe and Salon Post Production Equipment are teaming up to offer exclusive free Adobe Premiere Pro training for Editors looking to build their skills — compliments of Adobe.

Our Adobe Premiere Pro for Experienced Editors course is designed for AEs to take their existing editing skills seamlessly into the world of Adobe Premiere Pro over the course of two days.

Class Overview

Adobe Premiere Pro for Experienced Editors – Long form and episodic:
This in-person, robust 2-day class is intended to broaden your skill set and build proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. This class assumes you have editing expertise on an editing platform and are familiar with dailies, turnovers, etc, and need to know how to work in a siloed editorial workflow. Class incorporates presentations, demos, and a lot of hands-on learning with time to ensure you get your questions answered!

Topics include:
· Understanding set up and using Premiere Pro Productions
· Ingesting of Dailies and wrangling metadata
· Importing and organizing media
· Best practices for syncing picture and sound
· Setting up and “moving into” Premiere Pro — keyboard shortcuts, presets, and workspaces
· Sequence-based organizational tips
· Trimming and timeline tricks
· Working with audio: both temp sound and final mix from Premiere Pro
· Color basics: using Premiere’s Lumetri Panel for temp/final color
· Titles/Graphics: from creating custom burn-ins to using full motion graphic templates designed in After Effects
· Preparing and delivering turnovers for color, sound, and VFX
· 3rd-party tools to streamline your workflow, including Change List tools, metadata reports, etc.
