Objectives
This class will discuss and break down current and future virtual machine (VM), virtual private network (VPN), and cloud technology as it relates to remote editing and storage in today’s post production industry. Students will learn through demos and lecture on various remote options, which options work well together, and which options are optimal for different remote editing situations.
Audience
This class is designed for: Editors – Assistant Editors – Multimedia Producers – ACSRs – Engineers.
Prerequisites
The following are highly recommended: MC101 or equivalent experience.
